- This room was constructed in 1915 and used as a private country house by Iwasaki, founder of the Mitsubishi company.
- The windows on the garden side were installed during the Taisho period around 1920.
- During the summer months a pleasant and relaxing breeze from the garden's valley fills the room through the "Sudare" bamboo blinds.
- Private indoor bath has a constant supply of fresh water direct from the hot springs source filling the bath continiously.(with handrail)
